Helix Precision was selected to assist with the design manufacture & testing of a bespoke loading arm to be installed at Oil Refinery’s across the uk to assist personnel loading and unloading very expensive and fragile parts within a confined space within a piece of machinery, the product served two purposes firstly to minimise injury to staff by removing the manual lifting element and secondly to reduce the amount of damaged parts the company was seeing during install due to the weight and handling issues.

We carried out a series of load tests on site to the customers required scope and ensured the results met the customers’ requirements
