Starting rate £9.50 Per Hour up to £14 p/hr dependent upon experience and skill level + 22 days holiday plus bank holidays + Pension + Day Shift Sociable Hours

Standard Working week 38hrs Monday – Thursday 8am – 4:30pm Friday 8am – 2pm
Overtime Rate at time and half– Plenty of Overtime available – Potential to earn unrestricted 

Commutable from Hull, Beverley, Brigg, Bridlington, Cottingham, Driffield, Doncaster, Hedon, Howden, Goole, Scunthorpe.

Due to the continued growth and re-investment of the business, coupled with high staff retention, there new positions available for 4 CNC machine operators to run & monitor machines after they have been set by highly skilled setters on a range of Modern CNC Machines milling and turning.

We’re looking for bright, committed and enthusiastic people to join our engineering team! 

Experience is not essential and training will be given to the successful candidate. Although it would be advantageous to have previously worked in a machine operator type role in the same or a different industry

Role Requirements 

• Good communication skills

• CNC Machining experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be given this will reflect upon rate of pay.

• CNC Controls we use – Fanuc/Haas–
  If you do have previous CNC experience but on different controls training will be given 

• Candidate will operate CNC machines – and be required to measure parts as they come off
  eventually moving onto proving out first time programs themselves Understanding engineering drawings is advantageous but not essential as training will be given to understand engineering drawings from which components are manufactured.

Due to the continued growth and re-investment of the business, coupled with high staff retention, there is a new position available for a skilled and experienced CNC Turner able to programme off line, set and operate a range of Modern CNC Lathes.

Job Profile

As the successful CNC Turner, you will be part of a highly skilled team of engineers in a clean, modern, state of the art facility.

Duties:

• CNC Turner–Setting and Operating (Multi axis lathes)

• Programming Offline (experience of Edge Cam would be an advantage but not essential)

• Producing components for the Aerospace sector ,Optical components and General engineering Sectors

• Machining of Aluminium, Stainless Steels Titanium & Inconel

• Working with Doosan Puma GT2100 & Hwacheon 200B & Hwacheon 300MC

Hours of Work:

• All hours over 38hrs per week is paid at x1.50 hrs

• 20 days paid holiday + all National holidays paid

• Company Pension Scheme

• CNC Miller–Setting and Operating (Multi axis Milling Machines)

• Programming Offline (experience of Edge Cam would be an advantage but not essential)

• Producing components for the Aerospace sector ,Optical components and General engineering Sectors

• Working with Vertical CNC Machines with Fanuc , Haas Controls, 5 Axis experience would be advantageous
